Research Field and Overview
The Spin Isospin Laboratory promotes nuclear physics research at the RI Beam Factory. In particular, the laboratory focuses on studies of nuclei near and beyond the neutron drip-line and cluster structure using the SAMURAI spectrometer, and mass measurements of short-lived nuclei using the Rare RI Ring. In addition, applications of nuclear spin polarization techniques to materials and life sciences are being conducted, by linking nuclear physics techniques with chemistry, engineering, and biology.

Job description
Experimental nuclear physics research at the RI Beam Factory. The successful candidate is expected to play a central role in the development of the apparatus and detectors necessary for the research. The successful candidate will be involved in the management of the laboratory in cooperation with the laboratory head.
