Faculty Position in Single cell and Spatial Transcriptomics
The Nash Family Department of Neuroscience and The Drug Discovery Institute (DDI) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai invite applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the areas of single cell and spatial transcriptomics. We seek outstanding candidates who employ technologies that can resolve the transcriptional, epigenetic, or proteomic profiles of brain cells, or their brain-wide connectomic profiles, with high cellular or spatial precision.
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai offers a highly collaborative culture and provides excellent shared research facilities for Spatial Transcriptomics. Qualified candidates must hold a PhD, MD or MD/PhD degree with established expertise in Tissue Optimization, Library Preparation, Sequencing and Data Processing & Analysis and a strong record of research accomplishments. The successful candidates are expected to establish dynamic and independently funded research program, support and participate in collaborative drug discovery efforts across the Nash Family Department of Neuroscience and DDI and throughout the Medical School.
