Postdoctoral and research associate positions are available immediately to develop novel cancer immunotherapy, i.e. chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-expressing T cells,  to eradicate human neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) and gastrointestinal cancers as well as acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and investigate the unique molecular mechanisms on how CAR constructs, including the binders and the signaling domains, improve the T cell antitumor activity to eliminate solid tumors. These positions require experience in molecular cell biology or immunology and ideally experience with various mouse tumor models and flow cytometry analysis. Experience in T cell biology is valuable. The candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Successful applicants will have rich opportunities to gain a broad range of cutting-edge knowledge and experience ranging from synthetic biology, genome wide CRISPRa screening, immunology, bioinformatics, immunotherapy models as well as bench side to bedside translational studies.
