Faculty Recruitment - Open Call

Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute (LFKRI) at New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe) is soliciting applications for faculty positions at Assistant, Associate and Full Member levels. LFKRI consists of faculty members with diverse expertise spanning basic and translational investigation into the cellular, molecular and biochemical basis of hematology and is the largest nonprofit research institute of classical hematology in the world. Through multi-disciplinary research hubs that foster collaboration, LFKRI’s dynamic and collaborative faculty are engaged in NIH-funded programs in stem cell and progenitor biology, immunobiology of blood disorders and transfusion therapy, infectious disease prevention and control, and genomics and data science. Candidates with expertise in hematology, hematopoietic stem cell biology, immunology & immunotherapies, infectious disease, population studies and sentinel exploration and/or modeling of emerging diseases, who will complement and enhance our current research programs are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be expected to develop and lead an outstanding extramurally funded research program, and contribute to the collaborative community and the mentoring mission of LFKRI. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or a M.D., or equivalent degree, and productive prior research. The successful applicant will receive a competitive start-up package, substantial salary support commensurate with experience and rank, a comprehensive benefits package, modern research space, and will have access to the wealth of resources and core facilities available at LFKRI and neighboring world-class research universities. To support faculty in postdoctoral research fellow recruitment, LFKRI covers any external talent recruiter fees and funds the postdoc housing allowance of $15K and assists with visa application processes.
