Postdoctoral Fellow

The Stubbs Lab is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to focus on genetic, epigenetic, and regulatory mechanisms that orchestrate brain development and plasticity, particularly as it relates to social behavior and the resilience or susceptibility to stress. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team with expertise in mouse genetics and behavior, neurodevelopment, evolutionary biology, gene regulation and epigenetics, collaborating with human geneticists and basic scientists within and outside the institute. Our research aims to develop mechanistic insights into mechanisms in human neurological disorders, especially those involving social deficits and abnormal adaptation to stress.   

The successful candidate will ideally bring established expertise in regulatory genomics, neurodevelopment, and knowledge of mouse genetics. A combination of experimental and computational/statistical skills will be considered a definite plus. An interest in collaborative team science is an absolute requirement. 

Qualifications:  

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent) is required.
• Combination of experimental and computational/statistical skills required.
