The Department of Biochemistry is expanding our research and educational programs and encourages applications from qualified individuals to join the collaborative faculty as:

  • A full-time faculty member at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level in the tenure track pathway.  The successful applicant will be expected to establish and maintain an independent research program using state-of-the-art investigative techniques and will join a collaborative departmental faculty of ~20 colleagues accelerating progress in basic and translational parameters of cancer biology, genetic and epigenetic regulatory mechanisms, enzymology, cellular structure and function, coagulation, and nucleic acid/protein interactions.   • A full-time faculty member at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level in the Educator-track pathway. The successful applicant will be joining a growing group of collaborative educators to contribute to the momentum of our growing teaching responsibilities in biochemistry. Experience with asynchronous, on-line education is preferred. In addition to teaching, the candidate will be expected to engage in scholarly activity in the realm of biomedical science education.
