The Department of Physiological Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking to hire a full-time Assistant Scientist.  Applicants must hold a PhD degree and should have 2 or more years of postdoctoral training.  The successful candidate will work in the laboratory of Dr. Donald Bolser in the areas of neural control of breathing and airway protective behaviors. The individual will conduct integrative physiological experiments in an anesthetized feline model. Preferred experience includes:  EMG placement experience with electrophysiological methods familiarity with brainstem reflexes, and pharmacological methods. Salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
