YOUR ROLE
  • Develop and integrate sustainability strategy into the business strategy via translating the market data and customer insights into sustainability driven programs and innovations that drive profitable growth with a data driven concept
  • Translate strategy into a clear action plan, leveraging sustainability as a clear differentiator in the market to drive our portfolio transformation
  • Drive portfolio transformation by advancing the methodological framework to assess our portfolio's contribution to sustainability in the light of market needs, total impact assessment and future regulations
  • Provide expertise on sustainability trends, standards, testing methods, regulations and connect to the adhesive technologies applications, targeting relevant market trends and industries
  • With special focus on sustainability measurement, data analysis and modeling, contribute to building a holistic concept for sustainability transparency on product and portfolio level along the value chain
  • Support building SBU sustainability communication strategy in collaboration with marketing communications team, leveraging external customer and market insights
  • Act as interface between Adhesives sustainability and SBU/division to connect and share information and represent SBU in meetings and relevant platforms
  • Represent SBU in associations proactively leveraging the insights from Public Affairs to build reputation and anticipate regulations

YOUR SKILLS
  • Master's degree in Sustainability Management and/or PhD in Chemistry or Engineering
  • Min. 7 years relevant work experience, specialized in the area of sustainability or sustainability management
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects in multi-stakeholder environments, ideally with a strong focus on sustainability related projects
  • Strong scientific expertise of raw materials and adhesives technologies is an advantage
  • Experience in data analysis and/or modeling of the value chain (cradle-to-grave), understanding of life cycle assessments and reporting standards (e.g. Greenhouse Gas Protocol) is a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in working with large, linked spreadsheets, data tools and systems
  • Both strategic and analytical individual with with data affinity and passion for driving change and challenging the status quo
  • Fluent English language skills
