YOUR ROLE
  • Generate value from data by creating concepts for processing and managing data efficiently for the whole enterprise using state of the art data orchestration and API management platforms
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines minimizing deployment cycles and downtime for various data products, ensure independent concepts for development and release management
  • Consult developers to use the data platform efficiently, design and develop robust data development strategy
  • Contribute to Henkel's micro service architecture for data management and data orchestration
  • Implement interfaces for exchanging data across Henkel's cloud data platform and for sharing data with external service partners
  • Be part of a team of data professionals in the Data Engineering CoE department. Advance the team with your expertise and extend and deepen your knowledge by strong collaboration within the team
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams using agile methods to deliver high quality data products at a fast pace
  • Establish yourself as a reliable, creative, and positive partner across business and IT to enable and identify data potentials

YOUR SKILLS
  • University degree in a computer science or other STEM field
  • First experience in implementing scalable enterprise data platforms, creation of CI/CD pipelines for various data products (Azure DevOps)
  • Hands-on experience in the Azure data ecosystems; covering data orchestration tools (AirFlow, DataFactory), RESTful API management for sharing data (OData, Data Share) and event-based development patterns (Azure Functions, Azure Event Hub, Azure Event Grid)
  • Excellent coding skills in relevant languages (e.g. .Net, Python, SQL, NoSQL). Experience in ETL/ELT design, data and interface specifications, quality assurance and testing methods. Knowledge of distributed data computation frameworks (e.g. Azure Synapse, Spark, Data Bricks)
  • Comprehensive understanding of delivering value from data. Experience in building robust, scalable, high-quality data products
  • Experience with agile methodologies in a professional development environment
  • Fluent in English; German language skill is a plus
