What You Will Achieve
Pfizer's BioMedicine Design group in La Jolla is seeking an outstanding and highly motivated Scientist specialized in protein expression and molecular biology to join force and contribute to early discovery of oncology therapeutics. The ideal candidate should have a solid training in protein biochemistry and a strong track record in protein expression and molecular biology, and will participate as a team player in production and screening of antibody candidates.

Qualifications
Must-Have
- B.S with 6+ years of experience OR M.S with 4+ years of experience in either an academic or industrial setting.
- Substantial experience with standard molecular biology skills and mammalian cell culture techniques
- Track record of demonstrating analytical skills, bench skills and problem-solving skills
- Perform very detailed experimental documentation
- Understand the underlying principles of the performed experiments
- Outstanding proactive attitude, collaborative, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced interdisciplinary scientific team and the desire to learn new techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to present research in a team setting
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Nice-To-Have
- Experience with antibody and biotherapeutic discovery and a working knowledge of antibody molecules
- Track record of successful contribution to research/pipeline projects
