Summary
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Baylor College of Medicine- Center for Innovation Quality Effectiveness and Safety. This is a Research Coordinator II for an individual with prior experience coordinating human subject research studies and/or randomized clinical trials. This position entails coordinating a federally funded research study and will be responsible for recruitment, telephone screening, enrollment, study assessments, scheduling participants and maintaining contact over 6-month study duration.

Job Duties
- Interviews, screen and recruits patients for study; explains process and procedures to educate participant regarding the research study.
- Obtains informed consent Collects patient information; processes documents and enters information into a database.
- Maintains records and regulatory documents and records for research studies and corresponds with IRB. Schedules research participant for procedures specific for the research protocol.
- Correspond / maintain contact with participants throughout 6-month study. May order supplies and equipment.
- May collect and ship blood specimens according to procedures outlined in study protocol Performs other job duties as assigned.
- Phlebotomy training and performing blood draws in human subjects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- One year of relevant experience.
