Epigenetics, Aging, and Neurodegeneration Research Positions

Two research positions – at the level of Research Fellow, Research Scientist, Data Analyst, Computational Biologist, or Programmer – are available in the Lemos Lab at Harvard University T. H. Chan School of Public Health.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in basic and applied research themes around epigenetics, nuclear architecture, and environmental impacts on the epigenome, as well as an interest in aging and neurodegeneration.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated research skills and ability to pursue research with one of the following:

  1. wet-lab experimentation, including skills with cell culturing, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, epigenetic analysis, and related skills OR
  2. dry-lab computational and statistical analyses of epigenetic data, including analysis of DNA sequencing data (RNAseq, WGBS, Hi-C, etc.) and/or biomarker discovery, omic data integration, epidemiological data integration, and related skills. Requirement: proficiency in one or more statistical or scripting languages, such as R, Python, and/or Perl, appropriate for scalable data analysis.
