YOUR ROLE

•Technical Support to develop application knowledge, sustain current business and create new sales with respect to Henkel Adhesive Packaging markets, with a particular focus to adhesive applications and solutions for the paper and the flexible packaging business.

•Is responsible for product recommendations, customized products solutions and applications, product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers.

•Recommends solutions and performs technical visits (meetings, audits, demonstrations, troubleshooting, etc.) for customers with documentation.

•Product application/technical training to sales force and customers.

•Handling customer's technical enquiries.

•Support the laboratory work.

•Quantifies, documents and reports Henkel solution's value to customers.

•Documents all activities in CRM tool.

•Is responsible for directly communicating with other members within Application Engineering, Sales, Marketing, PD, and Innovation teams.

•Promotes internally innovations and best learnings cross accounts.

YOUR SKILLS

•Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical or Material Science

•Previous experience in a similar technical role is attractive. Hands-on experience of laboratory/workshop testing required.

•Knowledge of the packaging industry with experience of using industrial adhesive is a nice to have; writing technical papers and understanding technical reports, project management approach.

•Well-developed customer facing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented, with the ability to handle multitasks.

•High degree of enthusiasm and problem-solving skills. IT skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office package, ability to work in a digitalized environment

•Fluent in English is highly recommended.

•High degree of flexibility as travel is required and often at short notice.
