Position Summary

The Radiographic Aide I is responsible for assisting technologists and radiology nursing staff with coordination of patient flow to include but not limited to: exam room preparation, supply and linen management, screening patients for exams/procedures, patient transport, exam room turn over.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in verifying and accompanying patients from the waiting room to exam areas.
  • Prepares patients for procedures to include but not limited to contrast and metal screening, gowning and positioning.
  • Assist in procedure room preparation to include but not limited to stacking of linen, stocking of supplies, cleaning and disinfection of equipment, requesting of EVS and linen services as needed.
  • Coordinates patient transport, and transports patients as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.


Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • High School or equivalent

Required Certification/Licensure:
  • BLS

Preferred education experience and skills:
  • Prior Customer Service Volunteer work is preferred.
