Postdoctoral fellow positions are available at Prof. Xinyuan Chen’s lab in the Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at the University of Rhode Island (URI, Kingston, RI). Dr. Chen’s lab is conducting vaccine-related research, including developing vaccines, adjuvants, and vaccine delivery platforms, and evaluating their potency and safety in various in vitro and in vivo models. Dr. Chen’s lab emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to address key questions in vaccine/adjuvant development.
Candidates with a strong background in Molecular/Cell Biology and Immunology/Virology are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent degree in related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in recombinant protein expressions and/or vaccine development. Research results have been published in journals, such as Nature Communications, Biomaterials, JCI Insight.
