The Department of Entomology at National Taiwan University invites applications for a faculty position (open rank) in the areas related to “Insect ecology or behavior,” with employment beginning from 1 February 2023. All applicants should have a Ph.D. degree (with at least one year of postdoctoral or other equivalent research experience). Successful candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching and research and have a good command of English. The application package should be mailed to the following address and include a cover letter indicating the position rank being applied for and a representative publication dated after 1 February 2018, curriculum vitae, statements of research interest and teaching plan, a copy of the Ph.D. diploma, reprints of all publications after 1 February 2016 (electronic files on a flash drive), and two referees' contact information. If the representative paper is published jointly with more than one other person, fill in the "Verification of Co-author’s Contribution to the Applicant’s Representative Publication" form (http://www.personnel.ntu.edu.tw/News_Content_n_165_sms_10036_s_5117.html). If applying for an assistant professorship, one referee is preferred to be the applicant's Ph.D. supervisor. Transcripts of graduate studies are only required for applicants whose representative publication is a Ph.D. thesis.
