POSTDOCTORAL SCIENTIST 328

​We are searching for a highly motivated Postdoctoral candidate with strong ambition and commitment to a productive environment in a high achieving academic environment. Our laboratory focuses on neural stem cell biology and translational research, differentiation into specific neural lineages, single cell analysis for basic biology, drug discovery and stem cell-based therapy for neurological disorders. We have discovered technologies for neural stem cell derivation and differentiation into dopaminergic neurons with application in Parkinson’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury and other neurological disorders. We work with rodent and non-human primate models of Parkinson’s disease, stroke and traumatic brain injury. The postdoc fellow will report to Dr. Marcel Daadi.

​EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:  Ph.D. in neurosciences or related field, biological engineering, cellular, molecular or developmental biology with experience in induced pluripotent stem cells, bioinformatics, single cell data analysis. We are also considering candidates with expertise in preclinical development, quantitative analysis of behavior and surgeries, with interest in experimental neuroscience are encouraged to apply.
