Summary
The Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Baylor College of Medicine is looking to recruit a an enthusiastic and reliable Coordinator, Clinical Research for day to day administrative support for Dr.Jason Hou. The candidate will be located at IQuESt or VA Hospital and work alongside the Principle Investigator and research team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to visitors. The position is Monday to Friday, full time with 40 hours weekly.

Job Duties
- Maintains and updates Dr. Hou calendar to include all relevant events such as travel, meetings, service and call dates.
- Create shopping carts for supply ordering and PO
- Submit reimbursements and pre-trip authorization creation in Concur
- Maintain calendar, schedule meetings, and organize itinerary for visitors, escorting them to appointments
- Assist with supply/equipment delivery, including asset management and working on inspection/troubleshooting with facilities
- Compose correspondence for both PIs and format presentations
- Maintain signature profile and other relevant webpages
- Conduct general and clerical office task as assigned.
- Receives sorts and distributes mail.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
