he PGYII resident pharmacist is a licensed professional individual with supervision experience, who is responsible for assisting the director, managers, pharmacy staff and preceptors in the operational aspects of a department or unit on a 7-day/week, 24 hour basis while under training. In addition to rotation-specific activities, this individual train to actively work to ensure optimal delivery of pharmaceutical care and service, provide education to peers and other members of the healthcare team, as well as assist in performance improvement initiatives, either through direct involvement and membership or by occasionally participation in performance improvement team efforts. He or she will train in the supervision of human and material resources, as well as, program planning, and evaluation. He/she train in providing input and adhering to budget, revenue and expense targets. This position supervises assigns work, coaches, trains, and evaluates performance of PGYI residents and students. It is expected that the individual who holds this position is able to actively participate with peers, subordinates, and supervisors in constructive problem solving, as well as, to facilitate frequent team building interactions with staff.Key Responsibilities include:

Preferred Education:Preferred Experience: Additional Information:
- BLS (through American Heart Association)certification or receive one with 9 months of hire date.
- Current CA Pharmacy License or obtain within 3 months after start date; extension to a total of 6 months may be granted upon approval of Program Director and Human Resources.
