Two NIH-funded postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Sandrine Pierre, PhD at the Marshall Institute for Interdisciplinary Research (MIIR) to study the role of pumping and non-pumping functions of the Na+/K+-ATPase in cell biology and animal physiology. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on metabolic, renal, and cardiovascular diseases, with access to all MIIR investigators and their collaborators (http://www.marshall.edu/miir/). MIIR is committed to the career development of its members.

Requirements: PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent. Candidates with previous experience of multidisciplinary approaches to study signal transduction, cell biology/biochemistry/molecular biology, drug development, and/or murine models of metabolic/cardiovascular diseases are especially encouraged to apply.

Salary:  commensurate with qualifications and experience.
