Position Summary

About our research

Our research interests are at the intersection between cardio-oncology and exercise science, specifically identifying patients at increased risk for future cardiovascular disease and examining how exercise training and other lifestyle choices can physiologically improve cardiovascular and musculoskeletal function before, during and/or after cancer treatment, as well as health-related quality of life, fatigue, and physical fitness. We are utilizing various clinical assessment tools including wearable biosensors, dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry, bio-electrical impedance analyzer, ultrasound, blood biomarker assay, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing as well as other imaging modalities such as MRI.
