Hopeful for those we support, rebellious in our approach, and collaborative by breaking down barriers, AccessHope is seeking a Account Executive to help us uniquely deploy the latest cancer knowledge to the places it's needed most. As an ideal candidate, you'll for developing an account management function that delivers long-term, profitable, and highly satisfied relationships with employers, health plans, resellers, and intermediary purchasers of City of Hope Cancer Support Services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to direct management of assigned, large relationships/accounts; attraction, retention and development of talent to manage and grow an assigned book of business; contribution toward the design and delivery of client reporting; and contribution toward the design, development and delivery of product and pricing strategies to support overall organizational growth.
Key responsibilities
  • Owns assigned client relationships for jumbo or large employers, health plans, and other entities with direct contracts, collaborates across organization to deliver contractual commitments, exceed client expectations, and expand profitable business relationships.
  • Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues.
  • Planning and strategizing to retain and expand current customer relationships. May include quarterly, semiannual, or annual account client reviews with their executive teams.
  • Resolves complex and sensitive employer concerns in order maintain customer satisfaction and client retention.
  • Identify, analyze, and report trends and/or systematic issues within a book-of-business as they become apparent and provide solutions and possible opportunities for growth


Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's in business administration, healthcare, or related discipline
  • A minimum of 7 years of direct account management healthcare experience
  • Strong analytical and innovative mindset to handle multiple projects and deliverables
  • Ability to anticipate customers' needs and match them with appropriate products and services.
  • Comfort with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel required up to 40%.
Preferred qualifications
  • MBA, or master's degree in healthcare, healthcare administration or related discipline
  • Commercial market health care benefits
