YOUR ROLE
- Develop, drive, and execute various new digitalization projects in accordance with global, regional, and local initiative
- Introduce and incorporate new digitalization and data management technology to business process and operations to drive innovation in Henkel Business
- Listen to demand requests from local business and guide them to the appropriate direction
- Maintain, update, and improve IT infrastructure with support from vendors
- Make sure they are secure and compliant
- Manage smooth operation of end-user support including vendor management, SLA management/improvement,
- user awareness and education
- Perform daily operations such as procurement/invoice handling, asset management, compliance/security activities, vendor management, etc. Continuously improve them by automation, process optimization and other innovative ideas
- Ensure that the operations are compliant with Henkel corporate standards as well as regulations and laws
- Regularly keep record of compliance
- Responsibility areas include below in Japan (End-user computing, Network infrastructure, Server infrastructure, Application services, Security and compliance)
YOUR SKILLS
- More than 10 years of IT working experience in multi-national corporation
- Strong technical skills in at least 2 of those areas: Server, network, end-user computing, application, and project management
- Experience and/or maintain digital technology trends and how they are applied to business process and operations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both in Japanese (advanced) and English (advanced). Demonstrated ability to effectively present ideas and respond to questions with business leadership, end users as well as IT personnel
- Can-do attitude. When you face with problems, you should think how you can achieve the goal rather than why you can't do it
- Diversity and inclusion in mind. Henkel is a diverse environment with people from different background. You must understand and work well with them
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience of working with regional and global teams is preferred
- At least a few accreditation/certificates such as Microsoft Certifications, CCNA, ITIL, etc. are preferred
