The Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience (PEN) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) seeks outstanding applicants for an tenure leading faculty position with expertise in Radiopharmaceuticals and Drug Delivery for Small Animal Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Bioimaging. The department seeks to complement existing expertise in the fields of CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, mRNA gene delivery, nanomedicine, cell and computational biology for antiviral and immune-based therapeutics. Applicants must have an M.D., Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. with knowledge in PET imaging and drug development for theranostics. The department is world renowned with broad cross disciplinary expertise and research cores with broad interests in HIV/AIDS and neurodegenerative therapeutics.
