Summary

We are seeking a talented individual for a full-time position to join our team at IQuESt- Center for Innovation Quality Effectiveness and Safety. This is a Research Coordinator II position supporting multiple projects within the Patient Safety/ Health IT team. You will join a multidisciplinary team conducting health services research to understand and improve diagnostic safety for patients. Job duties involve coordinating day to day activities of research projects, including managing projects and ensuring accurate data collection, documentation, organization and safety of research participants.

This position allows the candidate work on site three days a week two days remote.

Job Duties

The team member will conduct a variety of tasks associated with project support activities under PI supervision including:
  • Maintain timelines for all project tasks and keep findings and analyses organized and accessible.
  • Coordinate team members by scheduling meetings, taking notes, and updating tasks.
  • Handle communication between the research team and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of materials for presentations, manuscripts, and grants.
  • Assist with paperwork related to travel.
  • Assist the leadership with project budgets and preparing annual reports.
  • Assist with submitting, maintaining, and revising human subject approvals and other regulatory documents.
  • Assist with data collection activities.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks like preparing study materials, photocopying, and organizing and filing documents.
  • Conduct literature searches and summarize information in an appropriate format for a particular study.
  • Train and orient less experienced research staff.
  • Order supplies and equipment.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • One year of relevant experience.
