Postdoctoral position at the University of Pennsylvania available immediately to study epigenetic mechanisms of lineage commitment in B and T lymphocytes, and the impact of transcription factor knockouts that enable significant hematopoietic lineage plasticity. Using mouse genetic models and a variety of transcription factor mutants, whole genome analyses by Hi-C, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, and 3-D FISH, will reveal mechanistic features of a developmental process that may be common in multiple lineages. Specific epigenetic features at B cell and T cell receptor loci coupled with transcription factor mutants will be used to further define mechanistic details.
