Postdoctoral Research Associates
A postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Gail A. Cornwall, Ph.D. in the Department of Cell Biology and Biochemistry in the School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, TX. Our laboratory studies the biological roles and mechanisms of assembly of functional amyloids in the reproductive tract and brain (https://www.ttuhsc.edu/medicine/cell-biology-biochemistry/faculty/cornwall.aspx). We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a Ph.D. and relevant research experience to study sperm amyloids as epigenetic carriers of inheritance. Applicants must have expertise in basic biochemistry/cell biology techniques including recombinant protein expression, WB, and IIF and experience working with rodent models. Experience working with male germ cells or amyloid is a plus.
