Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in Cell Biology and Physiology
Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis
The Cell Biology and Physiology (CB&P) department at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis invites applications for new faculty positions. Primary appointments will be on the tenure-track within the department of Cell Biology and Physiology (http://cellbiology.wustl.edu/), at the Assistant Professor level (or above, if appropriate). The successful applicant will be expected to develop a state-of-the-art research program in this broad area, as well as carry out teaching activities in a related area.
Faculty members in CB&P are carrying out fundamental and applied research, with strengths in cell signaling, membrane biology, cytoskeleton, extracellular matrix, organelle biology, metabolism, proteomics and genomics. The department is strongly connected to several interdepartmental research centers, including the Siteman Cancer Center (http://siteman.wustl.edu/research/research-programs/) and the Center for the Investigation of Membrane Excitability Diseases (CIMED) (http://cimed.wustl.edu/).
