This role is a global role focused on the exciting area of cell and gene therapy in oncology, with a chance to have high impact on the registrational program using your RWE skills. Letetresgene autoleucel is an autologous ex vivo T-cell receptor (TCR) modified T-cell therapy targeting for NY-ESO-1+ cancers. It is the leading cell therapy for the treatment of solid tumors, with evidence of transformative efficacy in two forms of sarcoma and potential in a range of other indications. The therapy has received Orphan and Breakthrough Therapy Designation from the FDA and PRIME designation from the EMA, and is currently being studied in registrational Phase II trial for sarcoma. In parallel, GSK has made significant investment in the development of a robust pipeline of additional high-potential cell therapies and an efficient manufacturing platform. We offer a rewarding and challenging career opportunity as HEOR Director to lead critical health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) activities for letetresgene autoleucel and other cell therapy medicines within the development pipeline. The HEOR Director will report to the VEO Senior Director, Value Evidence Leader and will lead complex, high impact RWE and related external engagement activities for the program. As Director VEO Oncology Cell Therapy you will: Lead multiple projects supporting the Value Evidence Plan. The role is responsible for ensuring scientifically robust evidence generation activities are integrated into the development program and effectively delivered. Lead large scale, complex RWE for regulatory and payer intent, including external comparator studies, prognosis studies, and cost and treatment pattern studies Ensure GSK matrix alignment on key VE activities across Global R&D, Global Commercial and local operating companies Prepare relevant sections of documentation and communication for scientific advice meetings; participate and represent organization at such meetings in collaboration with business leadership. Represent the VEO perspective on early CGT assets, including Early Development Team Meetings, Clinical Matrix Meetings, etc Develop evidence generation plans to support early cell and gene therapy assets and ensure alignment with global and local stakeholders Ensure quality, visibility and continuity of health outcomes activity conducted centrally and/ or in key local operating companies (LOCs). Lead abstract and manuscript development as part of a defined Data Dissemination Plan Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Advanced research degree (Masters or Doctoral) 10+ years of health outcomes or related experience Significant experience leading RWE studies, especially EMR, chart review and prospective studies Strong matrix management skills with R&D functions, country level staff, etc Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Global/above country experience Experience with oncology and/or cell and gene therapy Experience working in a large pharmaceutical/consulting environment Experience engaging externally with key opinion leaders, regulators and/or payers Why GSK?
