The Kidney and Urinary Tract Research Center in the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital is expanding its faculty.  The primary mission of this Center is to enhance the health of children with diseases of the kidney and urinary tract by engaging in high quality, cutting-edge translational research. About the Faculty Position:

  • Seeking Associate or Full Professor
  • Candidate should have a research laboratory focused on kidney/urinary tract development and/or disorders
  • Will establish an independent research program
  • Will help revolutionize the treatment of children with kidney and urinary tract disorders

Qualifications Required:

  • MD, MD/PhD, or PhD
  • Strong track record of publishing in high quality journals
  • Current R01 or equivalent federal grant funding is required

About the Kidney and Urinary Tract Center:

  • Kidney and Urinary Tract Center was incepted in 2022 to achieve best outcomes for children with kidney and urinary tract disorders, by integrating exceptional medical and surgical care with novel research discoveries
  • Currently expanding to complement the 7 Principal Investigators in the Center
  • Faculty members will have strong ties to the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension and Department of Pediatric Urology
  • Principal Investigators are also Faculty members at The Ohio State University College of Medicine
