Your Role

The Regional Sustainability Manager plays a key role in developing, leading, and executing the sustainability strategic objectives, demonstrating the ability to lead effectively across multiple functions- including Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Marketing, and leadership levels to develop and execute sustainability initiatives into the value chain. The role requires a deep understanding of environmental issues and challenges aligned with Climate changes efforts, Circular Economy, and corporate governance, has experience working in projects management and has a history of driving impact and change. The position reports to Global Sustainability Manager and will be part of a strong and motivated team.

The role will involve:
  • Partner with regional functions and operations area to develop the global sustainability strategies, policies, guidelines, and standards;
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and effective sponsor for environmental sustainability projects;
  • Develop and implement processes and programs to meet corporate sustainability goals in partnership with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders;
  • Educate and engage employees and value chain partners on the company's sustainability challenges;
  • Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental impact data using company systems and power BI platform;
  • Collaborate with suppliers and identify key opportunities to reduce environmental impacts of production activities;
  • Work with production facilities and external stakeholders to create and implement environmental footprint reduction projects;
  • Maintain knowledge of best practices, trends, industry standards, consumer expectations, and legislative changes to enhance program goals and processes, driving a positive impact;

YOUR SKILLS
  • Master degree (technical background)
  • Deep knowledge of sustainability issues in operation and supply chain activities
  • Experience in sustainability projects development and implementation management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, drive change, solve problems, and work collaboratively across functions and leadership levels
  • Technical skills - engineering / chemistry/energy efficiency/Env. & Sustainability
  • Analytical capability
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels of management
  • Cross functional stakeholder leadership & management skills
  • Balance of Principle and Pragmatism
