YOUR ROLE
  • Perform numerical simulation and DoE studies of Henkel structural products for automotive at the application level
  • Develop methods and automatize the workflow of topology and shape optimization process of Henkel structural reinforcement parts
  • Set implementation of the developed method in a commercial process
  • Document results and conclusions
  • Present results internally and externally
  • Act as the main interface and support the commercial engineering team, collaboration partners, and customers for application-level simulation topics

YOUR SKILLS
  • Master of Science or Master of Engineering in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, Numerical Simulation Science or similar
  • 2 years' experience in car body development projects with a focus on FEA simulation and topology optimization
  • Strong knowledge in part optimization with a focus on topology and shape optimization under static and dynamic load cases in automotive
  • Good knowledge in using FEA tools, e.g., Optistruct, Hyperworks, Nastran, LS-Dyna, Abaqus, Pamcrash, and scripting tool for workflow automatization, e.g., Phyton Strong
  • Analytical thinking, teamwork, self-initiative, and ability to work independently
  • Fluent English and German language skills
