YOUR ROLE
  • Henkel is currently seeking an Intern to assist our Analytical Group with method testing, equipment usage/support and quality record keeping.
  • Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform assignments with limited supervision.
Under the direction of a Chemist or Technician the Intern will:
  • Organize and conduct testing/experiments using established procedures.
  • Operate physical and analytical testing equipment.
  • Summarize and report results by entering data into software applications.
  • Document all necessary entries for quality (Standard checks/Verifications/etc.).
  • Be responsible for general laboratory cleanup and other general lab duties as assigned.

YOUR SKILLS

Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree in Chemistry or related field.
  • Applicant must have completed two years of college chemistry courses.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
  • Candidate will work with chemicals and must be able to follow safe work practices and protocols.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft suite: Word, Excel, Power-Point, TEAMS.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing laboratory work.
  • Available to work 15-20 hours per week during business hours and an on-going basis. Schedule can be flexible.
