Assistant or Associate Professor in Immunology and Pathogen-Host Interactions

The Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences (BSBS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF), College of Medicine, seeks outstanding applicants at the assistant professor or associate professor level with a research focus on Immunology and Pathogen-Host Interactions relevant to human health. Applicants in the fields of immune responses to microbial infections and molecular mechanisms of microbial pathogenesis are particularly encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants must hold a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. in a discipline appropriate to the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences program. In addition to developing or maintaining a well-funded research program, candidates are expected to have active participation in undergraduate and graduate education. The UCF College of Medicine provides faculty with highly competitive State-supported salaries, generous startup packages and laboratory space. The research facilities are state-of-the-art and include BSL3 laboratory space, transgenic animal facilities and excellent core facilities.

Together they provide a hub for biomedical innovation that is transforming Orlando into a global destination for health care, research, and biomedical education.
