  • Implements manufacturing processes that enable quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
  • Identifies and develops projects with regional management on footprint optimization
  • Leads and manages a team of engineers to implement project in the area of responsibility

  • Responsible for the technical management, maintenance and development of new and existing production lines
  • Protect the environment, company assets, and its people through a focus on employee safety during both the planning and execution of capital projects. Develop and enforce factory compliance programs such as management of change, PSM/RMP, lock out/tag out, and safe work/construction practices for both outside contractors and company employees.
  • Develop, monitor and control the sites annual capital budget, facilities maintenance expenses, and utility budgets. Lead the effective use of contract facilities support for buildings, grounds, and utilities systems as appropriate.
  • Lead a team of engineers and staff to manage equipment and facility capital projects. Supervise the activities of engineers and others involved with projects; identify priorities and resolve problems; manage all aspects of assigned projects including making recommendations to management team.
  • Effectively manage resources through timely equipment installation, service and repair. Support the efficient operation of the Plant through effective utilization of Engineering and Facility Maintenance resources.
  • Assist and partner with business leaders on the ideation and implementation of cost reduction and efficiency projects. This includes but is not limited to OEE, reliability, and Design to Value.
  • Deploy manufacturing engineering staff to maintain a focus on improving line efficiencies throughout the site. Continually collaborate with operations leadership to evaluate production and packaging needs for Capital Investment.
  • Lead the plant New Product Innovation (NPI) resources in the feasibility, costing, and scaleup of new products, ensuring quality and speed to market. Shape the organization through the collaborative development of new products that meet or exceed plant efficiency standards
  • Overall responsibility for the specification, selection, procurement, and installation of new production, facility systems and equipment, as well as upgrades or retrofits of existing equipment.

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
  • Capital program management experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, OSHA safety regulations, and EPA regulations
  • Clear understanding of engineering economics and project justification
