ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist to join the Molecular Assessment and Profiling group in BioMedicine Design. This individual will work collaboratively in a supportive environment to be trained on various analytical techniques and generate analytical characterization of gene therapy products. Successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team's deliverables.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform analytical studies of gene therapy candidates using a suite of established assays
  • Analyze experiment data with manager guidance and present results to project research teams
  • Proper experiment documentations in electronic notebook
  • The qualified candidate must have good communication skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree with with 2+ years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Biochemistry, Biophysics or related discipline
  • Good understanding of protein biochemistry
  • Knowledgeable with some protein characterization methods or analytical biochemistry techniques
  • Capable of completing experiments with limited supervision after training
  • Experience with using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience with AAV and biochemistry research
