Postdoctoral Associate position in the laboratory of Deborah Lannigan to study ERK1/2-RSK signaling in estrogen homeostasis and estrogen receptor positive breast cancer.  These studies are part of ongoing drug development collaborations that are generating novel RSK inhibitors with the goal of clinical transition.  Desired skills include microscopy, tissue culture and familiarity with modern methods of molecular biology and biochemistry.  Preference will be given to those applicants that have mouse handling and surgical experience.  The laboratory has an archive of cryopreserved primary normal and breast cancer tissue from patients and experience with organoid culture is an advantage.  A sound publication history is desired. A  Ph.D. or M.D. degree is required as well as strong communication skills.

The laboratory is located at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center within a highly interactive community of signal transduction/breast cancer researchers.
