NIH-funded Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available immediately in the Department of Surgery/Urology Research Laboratory at Brigham & Women's Hospital & Harvard Medical School, located at 75 Francis Street, Boston, MA 02115.
We seek a highly motivated and skilled candidate to study transcriptional regulation, DNA repair pathways, drug candidates, biomarkers for targeted therapies in prostate cancer using preclinical models. The candidate will work in a collaborative and networked research environment in the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC), which is the largest comprehensive cancer center in the world, bringing together the cancer research efforts of the 7 Harvard-affiliated member institutions: BIDMC, BWH, CHB, DFCI, HMS, HSPH, and MGH.
The potential candidate should possess a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent), and have a solid background in cancer biology, biochemistry, and genomics. Prior experience in next-generation sequencing, cancer genomics, molecular mechanism study, and mouse modeling are highly valued. Salary will be according to NIH guidelines.
