A postdoctoral research position on circadian clocks is open in the lab of Professor Andy LiWang at the University of California, Merced (https://faculty.ucmerced.edu/aliwang). The project will study the structural biology of circadian clock proteins with the goal of elucidating mechanism. The postdoc will be responsible for the design, execution, and analysis of experiments on oscillating clock reactions using biochemical and biophysical techniques. The successful candidate will conduct independent research in a supportive, collegiate, inclusive, and collaborative work environment and have many opportunities to present his/her work at national and international conferences. The LiWang lab is supported by an NIH R01 grant and was just awarded an NIH R35 (MIRA) grant from 2022-2027.
