YOUR ROLE
  • Act as a lead developer and architect for the end-to-end supply chain analytics product at Henkel
  • Design, develop, and operate scalable and robust data pipelines and business logic of the application
  • Coordinate and review the work of the external development team
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the requirements and process specifics and support them in case of issues
  • Derive technical concepts out of complex business requirements
  • Advise and consult business to use data efficiently
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams using agile methods to deliver high quality data products
  • Establish yourself as a reliable, creative, and positive partner across business to enable and identify data potential

YOUR SKILLS
  • Master's degree in a computer science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a data engineering environment
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure data ecosystem covering data ingestion, data modeling, and data provisioning to consumers
  • Excellent coding skills SQL and C#; Python is a plus. Experience in ETL/ELT design, data and interface specifications, quality assurance and testing methods
  • Proven track record of delivering value from data
  • Experience in building robust, scalable, high-quality data products in iterations and integrating them into existing and new data-pipelines
  • Experience with agile methodologies in a professional development environment (CI/CD)
  • Fluent in English; German language skill is a plus
  • Ideally background in finance, supply chain, purchasing, manufacturing process
  • Willingness to actively work on the business concept and speak one language with business
