If so, this role in the Value Evidence and Outcomes (VEO) Specialty and Primary Care therapy area could be the right opportunity for you. We are seeking a global Value Evidence and Outcomes (VEO) Director to lead and contribute to the value evidence generation strategy, initially supporting the launch of a medicine for anemia of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), but with the opportunity to work on other assets across the Neurosciences, Renal, and Cardiovascular & Metabolic pipeline in the future. The VEO Director will report to the Senior Director who leads on the Neurosciences, Renal, and Cardiovascular & Metabolic disease areas, and will play a crucial role in driving and executing the VEO strategy for GSK assets, developing plans and delivering studies which demonstrate the value of the medicine and support key LOCs in their reimbursement submissions. The VEO Director role is essential in ensuring that each medicine GSK brings to market is supported by scientifically credible, high quality evidence aligned with the needs of those responsible for making important decisions around patient access. You will be a key contributor to helping our patients. The role will also offer you the opportunity to be part of the exciting preparations for launch, whilst working within an extremely experienced team and contributing to the overarching medicine strategy. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leading on key VEO Projects and Studies in the Value Evidence Plan, ensuring the delivery of scientifically robust and impactful evidence. Ensuring quality, visibility, and continuity of health outcomes activity conducted centrally and/ or in key local operating companies (LOCs). Contributing to the development and refinement of the evidence generation strategy and plans, as well as to the asset overall strategy. About You: The VEO group is a matrixed team with many sub-functions working closely to deliver the end result. As such, confidence working cross functionally and influencing other leaders is essential, as is the ability to build successful working relationships with various teams and to drive objectives through influence rather than formal instruction. You will need both a micro and macro perspective, zooming in on specific studies and projects where required, but always with an understanding of, and appreciation for, the bigger picture - including how our products positively impact our patients. To succeed, you will need to be focused on delivering key objectives, maintaining and monitoring progress of multiple simultaneous projects and balancing the needs of each with strong organisational and multi-tasking skill. Required Qualifications and experience: Master's degree qualification or higher in Health Economics or a relevant discipline Significant experience in health economics and outcomes research or an aligned discipline/function (HOR) Experience in the Pharmaceutical sector including - Drug development and/or launch experience - Experience of value evidence generation Experience working cross functionally in a matrix environment Preferred Qualifications and experience: Global / above country experience Significant experience in launching products Hands-on experience in real world evidence strategy and delivery Experience in the Renal disease area Why GSK?
