NEUROPHYSIOLOGIST AT MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE. The Department of Biology and Program in Neuroscience invite applications for a one-year appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor with a focus in neurophysiology, beginning in Fall 2022. This is a joint position in Biology (0.5) and Neuroscience (0.5). Applicants should have a Ph.D and demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate is expected to be able to teach an introductory course in cell biology and genetics, a middle-level course in cellular and molecular neuroscience, a course on animal physiology and one elective of the candidate's choice. The Department of Biology and Program in Neuroscience are especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the growing diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching, scholarship, and service. Demonstration of evidence-based inclusive pedagogy, mentoring, and advising a diverse population of students is essential.
