The Department of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the laboratory of Drs. Ashley Webb and Justin Fallon. The laboratories of Drs. Fallon and Webb at Brown University are developing therapeutics targeted to a novel pathway that increases adult hippocampal neurogenesis and improves cognition. We are working in close collaboration with industry and our goal is to translate this work into the clinic in the next two years. Applicants must have a PhD in the biological sciences. Experience with mouse stereotactic surgery along with immunohistochemistry and/or molecular biology is required. Experience with rodent behavior is preferred. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to play a lead role in translating compelling foundational science into a therapy that may impact the lives of patients suffering from Alzheimer’s and other neurological diseases.

Qualifications
Applicants must have a PhD in the biological sciences.

Experience with mouse stereotactic surgery along with immunohistochemistry and/or molecular biology is required.

Experience with rodent behavior is preferred.
