These responsibilities include some of the following: You are responsible to help develop and execute the Global Medical Affairs strategy for the assigned product (SHINGRIX) You support the execution of country-level medical affairs plans in alignment to the Global Medical Affairs Strategy. You support external engagements including Advisory Boards. You develop new medical affairs communication and training materials under the appropriate approval framework. You represent the medical affairs voice into the vaccine development and commercial teams in alignment with the Global Medical Affairs Strategy. You ensure that all communications are scientifically accurate, balanced, remain aligned with product strategy, and compliant to applicable laws and regulations Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Advanced Degree (in life sciences, immunology, vaccinology, infectious diseases, public health and/or epidemiology) Pharmaceutical industry experience, acquired through global or Regional/Local Medical Affairs or non-Medical Affairs relevant functional areas is a strong asset Interaction experience with external experts (EE's), governmental officials or advocacy groups. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: MD or PhD in Life Sciences Ability to absorb, analyze and distil new clinical, epidemiological, HO, basic science information to the topic Relevant experience vaccinology, epidemiology is a strong asset Experience in organizing activities involving EE's, such as symposia or CME Excellent communication skills Speaker experience on scientific/medical topics in for a of different audiences Publication experience Some experience with review & approval processes in a highly regulated setting. Some experience of interacting and managing external vendors Acknowledged ability to constructively interact cross-functionally Ability to take a solid fact-based position Ability to develop and review independently new materials based on strategy, core evidence documents and communication strategy Proficiency in common office programs Word, PPT, Excel Fluent in English Why GSK?
