Position available in the research scientist track. Rank will be commensurate with experience, from ranging from Research Instructor to Research Professor. Areas of investigation include work on gastrointestinal inflammation and cancer, including Helicobacter pylori immunopathogenesis and associated gastric cancer, and inflammatory bowel disease and associated colitis-associated colon carcinogenesis. There are extensive opportunities to utilize an array of rodent models, especially many established conditional knockout mice, and numerous disease models, as well as highly translational studies involving human biosamples and organoids. We seek to discover new approaches to treating mucosal immune dysregulation and inflammation, and we are developing novel strategies for cancer prevention.

Strong experience in microbiology, immunology, and/or cancer biology supported by publications and interest in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract is highly desirable. Eligible candidates should hold degrees equivalent to Ph.D., M.D., or D.V.M.
