YOUR ROLE
  • Join the Henkel team in the Adhesives Automotive Components Product Development Department at the headquarter in Düsseldorf and take the opportunity to focus on megatrend and growth area e-mobility
  • Develop new products in the field of Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) with a focus on megatrend e-mobility
  • Formulate new thermal interface materials, design test series, and lab formulations
  • Conduct characterization and specification testing of new TIM development products, set up of test methods, documentation of test results
  • Scale-up and transfer of lab formulation into serial production located at different manufacturing sites
  • Prepare presentations on development projects for management, customers, and technical audiences
YOUR SKILLS
  • Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technician (d/f/m), Technician (d/f/m) or comparable, alternatively degree as a Chemist (d/f/m) or a Chemical Engineer (d/f/m)
  • 4 years of professional experience in polymer chemistry, preferably in silicone, silane-modified polymer, polyurethane, or epoxy chemistry
  • Work experience with thermal interface materials and/or adhesive product chemistry or related fields is appreciated
  • Project- and time management skills are beneficial
  • Good teamwork and communication skills to collaborate in a global and cross-functional team environment, strong ability for problem-solving
  • Fluent English and German language skills
