What You Will Achieve

The qualified candidate will join the Analytical R&D organization in Chesterfield, MO, to enable development of biological therapeutics at the site. Within analytical R&D the candidate will join the Project Progression Line 1 to help manage lab operations.

How You Will Achieve
  • Performing routine lab operations including maintenance, tracking, and life cycle management of laboratory equipment.
  • Maintaining, ordering, and stocking laboratory consumables and interfacing with internal departments to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
  • Assisting with the shipment of samples from Chesterfield to other sites.
  • Monitoring of equipment alarm systems and coordinating equipment preventative maintenance / repairs with asset management and scientific staff.
  • Monitoring laboratory refrigerators / freezers and working with teams on their maintenance.
  • Assisting in general lab housekeeping.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with EHS, Facilities, Asset Management, and scientific staff on routine operations.


  • High School Diploma / GED with some experience.
  • Familiarity with a lab environment and lab safety procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry and biology.
  • Skills with working on computers, organization, and communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Self motivated, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to learn new tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow procedures and policies

  • Previous experience in a laboratory operations position
  • Understanding of equipment, instrumentation, and computer applications
  • Associates degree or certificate in biotechnology / lab technology / or a related field

  • This position requires occasional light lifting, periods of standing / sitting / walking, and dexterity with hands and arms.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to take instructions both written and orally, and communicate responses both written and orally.
