TAILOR Labs, the Maresso lab group, and Baylor College of Medicine are seeking candidates for a Lab Director/Director of Operations to help direct all aspects of phage therapy science and clinical cases, including phage discovery, characterization, preparation, and exploratory science into the mechanisms of phage action, synergy with antibiotics, directed evolution and resistance, synthetic biology, genome engineering, and immune response. This is part of a larger effort to adapt personalized medicines to diseases where evolution undermines treatment (e.g., antimicrobial resistance).
