YOUR ROLE
  • Be the main developer of data and analytics (web) applications
  • Design, test, develop, and operate robust and secure web applications and tools on Henkel's Data and Analytics platform. Enable both machine to user and machine to machine interaction with Henkel's Data Assets
  • Utilize your experience in Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Azure Artefacts, CI/CD concepts or other deployment and delivery technologies, to drive fast development and deployment of value adding applications
  • Work with data scientists, data engineers, analysts and product owners to ideate, conceptualize and improve software solutions
  • Be familiar with system architectures (Web client and cloud (Microsoft Azure)
  • Build, test, maintain and continuously improve the front-end of applications through appealing visual design as well as well functioning databases and back-end pipelines (scheduled & called from front-end)
  • Be passionate about documenting your work
YOUR SKILLS
  • University degree in software engineering, computer science, STEM, or any other relevant field
  • Proven experience as a software developer/full stack developer (d/f/m) or similar role
  • Experience in developing web applications; experience in developing desktop applications is as a plus
  • Familiarity with fundamentals of Microsoft Azure and its common architectures
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python [more specifically PySpark to communicate with Spark computation clusters]) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, node.js or react)
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. Azure SQL, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and basics of UI/UX design
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills
