Site Name: USA - Pennsylvania - King of Prussia Posted Date: Oct 25 2021 The GMP Warehouse supervisor will conduct warehouse operations according to cGMPs and area SOPs and support materials management activities for Biopharmaceutical R&D (BPDS) GMP Operations which includes procurement and control of materials supplies associated with supply of toxicology and clinical trial material. The GMP Warehouse supervisor will also schedule and release of material requirements in accordance with the BPDS portfolio and budget. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… Conduct material management operations in accordance with GMP's, GSK standards SOPs. Comply with all safety related material handling procedures and equipment. Accountable to ensure delivery of material and supplies in compliance with regulatory expectations and consistent for projects. Effective prioritization against projects and business requirement. Procurement/Sourcing and inventory supply. Contribute to development of SOPs. Assist in developing and performance on warehouse staff. Support project management activities relating to materials management in conjunction with BPDS objectives. Build sound working relationship with range of individuals departments both internally and externally. Contribute to the implementation of business processes and best working practice to ensure MM operate efficiently as possible. Contribute to development and issuance of metrics for inventory control, supply and forecasting. Responsible to assurance of outsourced function compliance to materials management procedures and work process. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: BS or BA in a relevant discipline preferable materials management or business Knowledge of GMPs, FDA/EU, and other applicable regulatory agency requirements with demonstrate success in application. Experience working in a GMP environment and working with ERP systems used within a warehouse and supply chain environment Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Organization skills and the ability to work effectively in a team Ability to work with computer systems including ERP systems Why GSK?
